A Money Bill can originate only in the National Assembly. A copy of the same is transmitted to the Senate which may within 14 days make recommendations thereon to the National Assembly.
After the Bill has been passed by the Assembly with or without incorporating the recommendations of the Senate, it is presented to the President, who shall give assent in 10 days.
