Gifts received by Chairman


Gifts received from various dignitaries of the Parliament of Iran


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gifts from various dignitaries of the Parliament of Iran during visit from August 4-8, 2017;

ii. Wooden frame presented by Mr. Sadegh Larijan, Chief Justice of Iran
iii. Scenery, presented by Mr. Mohammad Reza Majidi, Secretary General of Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA)
iv. Decoration piece presented by Mr. Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, Chairman of the Assembly of Experts and Cairman of the Guardian Coucil of Islamic Republic of Iran.
v. Ceramic cup with crystal weight presented by Mr. Saber Hossain Chowdhury, President, Inter-Parliamentary Union, Iran.

It is pertinent to mention here that after evalution from Cabinet Division vide Cab.Div.UO No.9/3/2017-TK dated 18th August, 2017, the said gifts fall within the permissible amount of Rs.10,000/ as per Toshkhana Procedure.


Gifts received from Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gift from H.E. Mr. Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference during his visit to Pakistan from April 5-6, 2017.

It is pertinent to mention here that after evaluation from Cabinet Division vide Cab. Div. U.O. No.9/3/2017-TK dated 20th April, 2017, a sum of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) have been deposited by the Honourable Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani in State Bank of Pakistan under Toshakhana Head of account vide challan No. 2164 dated 21-04-2017. The Deposited amount Rs. 2,000 is the retention cost of aforementioned gift i.e. one Ceramic Decoration Piece as it does not fall within the permissible limit of Rs. 10,000/- as per Toshkhana Procedure.


Gifts received from various dignitaries


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gifts from various dignitaries during their visit to Pakistan in January, 2017;

It is pertinent to mention here that after evaluation from Cabinet Division vide Cab. Div. U.O. No.9/3/2017-TK dated 20th January, 2017. A sum of Rs. 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) have been deposited by the Honourable Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani in State Bank of Pakistan under Toshakhana Head of account vide challan No. 2462 dated 26-01-2017. The Deposited amount Rs. 3,000 is the retention cost of aforementioned gift i.e. one Dagger as it does not fall within the permissible limit of Rs. 10,000/- as per Toshkhana Procedure. However, Wooden Frame falls within the permissible limit of Rs. 10,000/- as per Cab Div. U.O. No. 9/3/2017-TK dated 2nd February, 2017.


Gifts received from various dignitaries of the Parliament of Cambodia


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gifts from various dignitaries of the Parliament of Cambodia during visit from November 26, to December 02, 2016;

It is pertinent to mention here that after evaluation from Cabinet Division vide Cab. Div. U.O. No.9/3/2016-TK dated 09th December, 2016, A sum of Rs. 10,040 (Rupees ten thousand fourty only) have been deposited by the Honourable Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani in State Bank of Pakistan under Toshakhana Head of account vide challan No. 2230 dated 15-12-2016. The Deposited amount Rs. 10,040 is the retention cost of aforementioned gifts as said gifts do not fall within the permissible limit of Rs. 10,000/- as per Toshkhana Procedure.


Gifts received from various dignitaries of the Republic of Maldives


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gifts from various dignitaries of the Republic of Maldives during visit from October 15-18, 2016;

It is pertinent to mention here that after evaluation from Cabinet Division vide Cab. Div. U.O. No.9/3/2016-TK dated 24th October, 2016, the said gifts falls within the permissible limit of Rs.10,000/- as per Toshkhana Procedure.


Gifts received from Members Parliament of Iran


Honourable Chairman Senate has received the following gifts from Members Parliament of Iran during meeting of Standing Committee of Economic & Sustainable Development Affairs held on July 26-27, 2016 at Islamabad;
