Chairman Senate said that One Belt One Road project would open new vista for the regional development particularly in Asia. He said that the relationship between the two countries are based on strategic needs and remained always strong irrespective of the fact which party have the government in Pakistan. He expressed the hope that the Parliamentary relationship between the two countries would further strengthen in future.
Chairman Senate said that the parliamentary relations play an important role in furthering the development agenda for economic prosperity. He said that further increase in parliamentary relations between Pakistan and China would augment the time tested cooperation between the two countries.
He said that Pakistan and China have adopted common grounds on many international and regional parliamentary forums and we hope that by the exchange of parliamentary delegations would further enhance this cooperation.
Chairman Senate has said that Pakistan values its relation with China and appreciates the Chinese cooperation for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which is now a reality.
He said that China may consider future cooperation with Pakistan in education sector and should send more Chinese students to study in Pakistan. He said that Balochistan particularly Gwadar area have huge potential for investment and China may invest in establishing Metal Refinery in the province.
Chairman Senate appreciated the cooperation offered by the Chinese Ambassador for developing sports infrastructure in Balochistan especially for promotion of the football in Makran region.
