Senator Mohsin Aziz is a member of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and first time elected member of the Upper House of the Parliament for a six year term from 2015-21 on general seat of Khyber Pakhtunkwa. Hailing from Peshawar, he is the third generation of a renowned business/ industrialist family hailing from Peshawar. After completing his studies he acquired management and industrial training from Japan before starting his career of running family business.

He has a extensive and meritorious experience in the prestigious business, industrial and government forums most notable among them are the two term member Board of Directors State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Provincial Minister for Commence, Industries, Minerals and Technical Education, Twice Chairman of All Pakistan Textile Manufacturer Association (APTMA), Member Board of Directors, Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. (PPL), Habib Bank Ltd. (HBL).

He is also a running a philanthropic foundation, Aziz Jan Foundation, whose endeavors include state of the art institute offering the modern quality education to the marginalized students of Peshawar, other than provision of daily meals to the poor patients/ attendants in the government hospitals of Peshawar etc.
