ORDINANCES TO BE LAID

 

3. DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances, as required by clause (2)(a)(ii) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

(i)

The National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXXVI of 2009).

 

(ii)

The National Commission for Human Development (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXXVII of 2009).

 

(iii)

The Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan (Re-Organization and Conversion) Ordinance, 2009 (XXXVIII of 2009).

 

(iv)

The Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority Ordinance, 2009 (XXXIX of 2009).

 

(v)

The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Ordinance, 2009 (XLI of 2009).

 

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

 

4. Further consideration of the following motion moved by Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Minister for Health, on 9th February, 2010:-

 

that the Bill to provide for removal, storage and transplantation of human organs and tissues for therapeutic purposes [The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Bill, 2009], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration..

5. MAKHDOOM SHAHABUDDIN, Minister for Health, to move that the Bill to provide for removal, storage and transplantation of human organs and tissues for therapeutic purposes [The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Bill, 2009] be passed.

 

6. DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill to make provisions for free legal assistance to the indigent persons [The Public Defender and Legal Aid Office Bill, 2010], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.
