2.      Discussion on the following motion moved by Col. (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on 6th February, 2012:-

 

The House may discuss the Housing Policy of the Government with particular reference to the housing schemes for low paid government employees.”.

 

3.      Further discussion on the following motion moved by Col. (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on 7th May, 2012:-

 

“The House may discuss the situation arising out of load shedding of electricity in the country.”.

 

 

MOTIONS

4.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move that this House may discuss the affairs of Pakistan Railways with particular reference to its present financial position and the condition of its locomotives and other infrastructure.

 

5.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the existing public transport system in the country.

 

6.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the issue of sale of sub-standard medicines in the country.

 

7.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the overall performance of OGDCL with particular reference to the discovery of petroleum and gas reservoirs in the country.

 

8.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the situation arising out of supply of contaminated and polluted drinking water in the country.

9.      Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Farhatullah Babar on 30th April, 2012:-

 

“This House calls upon the Government to sign and ratify the International Convention for the Protection of all Persons from Enforced Disappearances.”.

 

 

10.    Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Shahi Syed on 30th April, 2012:-

 

 “This House recommends that the Government may take effective steps to deweaponize the city of Karachi in view of prevailing law and order situation in the city.”.

 

RESOLUTIONS

 

11.    MR. KARIM AHMED KHAWAJA to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may establish shelter houses for senior citizens.”.

 

12.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that effective steps be taken to eradicate child labour in the country.”.

 

13.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that water filtration plants may be installed in each city and village of the country to save the people from water borne diseases.”.

 

14.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that the Government to review fees, service and other charges formula of the foreign banks operating in Pakistan.”.

 

15.    MR. KARIM AHMED KHAWAJA to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that the Government may provide free health facilities to citizens in ICT.”.
