3. MR. FAROOQ HAMID NAEK, Minister
for Law and Justice, to lay
before the Senate the Federal Ombudsmen Institutional Reforms Ordinance, 2013
(Ordinance No.I of 2013) as required by clause (2) of
Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

4. MR.
FAROOQ HAMID NAEK, Minister for Law and Justice, to move that the Bill
further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The
Constitution (Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2013] as reported by the Standing
Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

5. MR.
FAROOQ HAMID NAEK, Minister for Law and Justice, to move that the Bill
further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The
Constitution (Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2013] be passed.
6. MR.
ABBAS KHAN, Minister for States and Frontier Regions, to lay on the
Table of the Senate a copy of the Rulers of Acceding States (Abolition of Privy
Purses and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill, 2013, under Article 73 of the
Constitution, for making recommendations, if any, thereon to the National
Assembly.
7. MR. ABBAS KHAN, Minister for States and Frontier Regions, to move that the Senate may make recommendations, if any, to the National Assembly on the Rulers of Acceding States (Abolition of Privy Purses and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill, 2013, under Article 73 of the Constitution.

8. SENATOR
MIAN RAZA RABBANI to draw attention of the Minister for Finance, Revenue,
Planning and Development, Economic Affairs and Statistics, to a matter of
sufficient public importance regarding grant of permission to the US Army Corps
of Engineer to build a Tactical Command and Operations Centre compound at the Jinnah International Airport Karachi to exchange
information with Pakistan Customs Drug Enforcement Cell.
AMENDMENTS
TO THE SENATE RULES
(Under Rule 269)
9. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to seek leave under
sub-rule (4) of rule 269 of the Rules
of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, to move an amendment
that in rule 165, in sub-rule (1), as amended on 26th February,
2013, for the word “nine”, the word “twelve” and for the word “twelve”, the
word “fourteen” be substituted.
10. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move, if leave
is granted, that the proposed amendment in sub-rule (1) of rule 165 be taken
into consideration.
11. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move that the
proposed amendment in sub-rule (1) of rule 165 be passed.
