2.      MR. FAROOQ HAMID NAEK AND DR. ABDUL QAYOOM SOOMRO to move for leave to introduce a Bill to provide for the protection and security of the citizens of Pakistan and any other person for the time being residing in Pakistan, from torture or any other variant thereof [The Torture and Custodial Death (Punishment) Bill, 2014].

 

3.      MR. FAROOQ HAMID NAEK AND DR. “This House may discuss the overall condition of Health sector after devolution of the subject of Health to provinces in pursuance of 18th Amendment in the Constitution.”.

 

6.      Discussion on the following motion moved by Mr. Farhatullah Babar on 20th October, 2014:-

 

“This House may discuss the overall performance of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).”.

 

MOTIONS

7.      HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move that this House may discuss the issue of non-payment of net hydel profits to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in line with AGN Kazi formula and Arbitration Award of 2006.

 

8.      HAFIZ HAMDULLAH to move that this House may discuss the situation arising out of drought in Thar.

 

9.      MR. MUHAMMAD ZAHID KHAN to move that the House may discus the present status of development projects being carried out by the Government in the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with particular reference to those being executed through elected representatives of that Province.

 

10.    NAWABZADA SAIFULLAH MAGSI to move that the House may discuss the recommendations made by the Civil Services Reforms Committee constituted by the Prime Minister particularly those pertaining to promotions in the civil bureaucracy on the pattern of Pak Army.

 

11.    MR. FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that this House may discuss the National Internal Security Policy (NISP 2014-2018) of the Government.

 

RESOLUTIONS

 

12.    MRS. SEHAR KAMRAN to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that the Government should take effective steps to control price hike of essential commodities in the country.”.

 

13.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government should take immediate steps to conduct 6th Housing and Population Census in the country.”.

 

14.    MR. KARIM AHMED KHAWAJA to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government should increase subsidy on electricity for domestic consumers.”.

 

15.    MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government should take effective steps to control corruption in the country.”.

 

16.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-
