4.      SENATOR MUSHAHID HUSSAIN SYED, Chairman, Standing Committee on Defence, to present report of the Committee on the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Army Act, 1952 [The Pakistan Army (Amendment) Bill, 2015].

 

5.      SENATOR MUSHAHID HUSSAIN SYED, Chairman, Standing Committee on Defence, to present report of the Committee on the Bill to amend the Cantonments Ordinance, 2002 [The Cantonments (Amendment) Bill, 2015].

 

6.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD, Chairman, Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat, to present report of the Committee on a Motion under rule 218 moved by Senator Saeed Ghani, on 13th April, 2015, regarding the new aviation policy of the Government with particular reference to the proposal of outsourcing the major airports in the country.

 

7.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD, Chairman, Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat, to present report of the Committee on a Calling Attention Notice moved by Senator Saeed Ghani, on 19th May, 2015, regarding shifting of Civil Aviation Authority Headquarters from Karachi to Islamabad and Civil Aviation Authority Training Institute from Hyderabad to any other province.

 

8.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MEHMOOD, Chairman, Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat, to present report of the Committee on starred question No. 106, asked by Senator Saeed Ghani, on 14th May, 2015, regarding work of renovation of Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.

 

MOTION

9.      SENATOR ABDUL REHMAN MALIK, Chairman, Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the time for presentation of report of the Committee on the Adjournment Motion No.11(116)/2015-Senate, moved by Senator Chaudhary Tanvir Khan in the Senate sitting held on 17th June, 2015, regarding statement made by Senator Abdul Rehman Malik, Chairman Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control, during a meeting of the Committee held on 12th June, 2015, whereby he disclosed that some foreign Embassies in Islamabad are involved in tapping of phone calls of important personalities of the country, and referred to the Committee on 17th June, 2015, for consideration and report within two months, be extended till 16th October, 2015, as a detailed briefing is required by the respective intelligence agencies / special branches to brief the Committee on the ability and the capacity of the agencies to assess such intelligence networks in the country. Therefore, more time is needed for a comprehensive report to be placed before the House.

10.    Consideration of the following motion moved by Senator Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Convener, Special Committee on Devolution Process, on 9th July, 2015:-

 

                   “That under sub-rule (1) of rule 196 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the report of the Committee on “oversight or review by the Senate regarding nominations to various policy and Administrative boards, councils envisaged under various Acts of Parliament for ensuring that equal representation is given to all provinces”, be considered and adopted.”.

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

11.    SENATOR CHAUDHARY TANVIR KHAN to draw attention of the Minister for Housing and Works to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding survey for re-designing of Bhara Kahu housing scheme for Government  employees by the Ministry of Housing and Works.

12.    Discussion on the mode of elections of Members of Senate, pros and cons of single transferable voting, alternate, poll reforms, etc.

13.    SENATOR MUHAMMAD JAVED ABBASI to draw attention of the Minister for Defence to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding cordoning off a playground-cum-funeral place in village Banda Phagwaria, Abbott Abad by the Baloch Regimental Centre.

14.   Discussion on the admitted adjournment motion moved by Senator Sardar Muhammad Azam Khan Musakhel on 8th June, 2015, regarding the distribution formula of NFC Award and report on 2nd Biannual Monitoring on the Implementation of National Finance Commission (NFC) Award (January-June, 2014), laid on the Table of the House on 8th July, 2015.
