Adj. Motion No. 07(120)/2015-M, notice given of by Senator Muhammad Javed Abbasi, regarding human trafficking from Pakistan to overseas country.

 

 

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICES

 

4.     SENATOR SASSUI PALIJO, to draw attention of the Minister Incharge of the Establishment Division, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding the recent advertisement published in national newspapers about the vacancies in FIA wherein the Quota of Sindh (Rural) has been ignored.

 

5.      SENATOR CHAUDHARY TANVIR KHAN, to draw attention of the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding sale of hi-octane @ Rs.88.90 per liter in District Sialkot whereas OGRA has fixed sale price of hi-octane @ Rs.79.79 per liter.

 

 

               

 

DISCUSSION ON THE ADMITTED ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS 

 

 

6.     Discussion on the following admitted adjournment motions:-

 

(i)

Admitted adjournment motions moved by Senator Shahi Syed on his behalf and on behalf of Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, on 6th October, 2015, regarding report of NEPRA for the year 2014-15 wherein it has been revealed that the efficiency of the Ministry of Water and Power is very poor and 70% consumers are getting incorrect bills;

 

(ii)

Admitted adjournment motions moved by Senator Taj Haider, on his behalf and on behalf of Senators Farhatullah Babar, Mir Kabeer Ahmed Muhammad Shahi, Baz Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar and Sardar Muhammad Azam Khan Musakhel, on 7th October, 2015, regarding conclusion of Senate Special Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that consensus developed in All Parties Conference on 28th May, 2015, on the route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), is being blatantly violated by the concerned Government Departments; and

 

(iii)

Admitted adjournment motions moved by Senator Mohsin Aziz, on his behalf and on behalf of Senators Saeed Ghani, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour and Sheher Bano Sherry Rehman, on 16th September, 2015, regarding failure of OGRA in fixing sale price of LNG and other issues, including LNG import price, inadequate regulatory provisions and other related matters.
