3.      SENATOR HAFIZ RASHID AHMAD, Chairman, Standing Committee on States and Frontier Regions, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 171 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on starred question No.163 asked on 20th January, 2010, regarding funds provided by the Government to Peace Committees and Lashkers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and FATA during the last year, be condoned till today.

 

REPORT OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE - PRESENTATION OF:

 

4.      SENATOR HAFIZ RASHID AHMAD, Chairman, Standing Committee on States and Frontier Regions, to present report of the Committee on starred question No.163 asked on 20th January, 2010, regarding funds provided by the Government to Peace Committees and Lashkers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and FATA during the last year.

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

5.      CHAUDHRY AHMED MUKHTAR, Minister for Defence, to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Ordinance, 1965 [The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2010], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

6.      CHAUDHRY AHMED MUKHTAR, Minister for Defence, to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Ordinance, 1965 [The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2010], be passed.

“The House may discuss the prevailing state of country’s economy in the wake of the devastating floods in Pakistan together with price hike in the country.”.
