Event Title: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Exchanging Views with Mr. Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, Speaker Balochistan Assembly in Islamabad

Acting Governor of Balochistan and Speaker of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Captain (Retired) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, also congratulated Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on being elected as the Founding Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference (ISC), terming it a significant diplomatic and parliamentary success for Pakistan. In his congratulatory message, the Acting Governor and Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly stated that the establishment of this new international forum under the leadership of the Chairman Senate not only enhances Pakistan’s parliamentary stature but will also prove to be a milestone in promoting democracy, dialogue, and cooperation at the global level. 
 

He expressed hope that the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference, under the visionary leadership of the Chairman Senate, would emerge as an effective global platform that will not only highlight the Kashmir issue but also address important matters concerning the Muslim Ummah at the international stage. He stated that this forum will become the voice of the oppressed Kashmiri people and will help awaken the global conscience to support their right to self-determination as per UN resolutions. Captain (Retired) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai expressed his best wishes for the Chairman Senate and reaffirmed that the Balochistan Assembly will continue to extend its full support to all positive initiatives of the Senate of Pakistan for democratic stability, parliamentary diplomacy, and the promotion of regional and global peace.
