Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, is currently on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, heading a high-level parliamentary delegation. The primary objective of this important visit is to further strengthen the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and China, enhance parliamentary cooperation, and explore new avenues for mutual collaboration.

During the visit, Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan gave a special interview to a local Chinese television channel in which he highlighted the historic significance of Pakistan-China relations and the deep mutual trust between the two nations.

In his interview, the Deputy Chairman emphasized that Pakistan and China are “Iron Brothers,” having always stood by each other through every challenge. He noted that both countries have consistently supported each other’s positions on all major international forums.

He further stated that Pakistan and China have proven their unwavering commitment to one another in both good and difficult times, with their people and leadership sharing deep respect, brotherhood, and a spirit of cooperation.

Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan underlined the pivotal role of parliamentary, diplomatic, and people-to-people exchanges in further cementing bilateral relations. Commending China’s unwavering support during natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods in Pakistan, as well as during times of heightened tensions with India, he expressed deep appreciation for China's solidarity.

He also highlighted China’s vital role in Pakistan’s economic development, particularly through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which is poised to enhance trade and investment not only between Pakistan and China but also across the broader region, including Central Asia.
 
He concluded by reiterating Pakistan’s high regard for its relationship with China, noting that these ties continue to grow stronger with the passage of time.
