Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, has been receiving a continuous stream of congratulatory messages from across the country upon his successful performance of Umrah, the sacred pilgrimage. Numerous delegations visited his residence to personally congratulate him on completing this blessed spiritual journey, praying that Almighty Allah accept his pilgrimage and make it a source of continued mercy and blessings in his life.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan said that performing Umrah brings spiritual peace, inner contentment, and renewal of faith. He noted that visiting the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) is a divine blessing whose spiritual impact remains with a believer throughout life.
He also prayed for the progress, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan, emphasizing that Pakistan is a nation blessed with abundant natural resources and divine bounties. He stressed that these resources must be utilized effectively and transparently for national development, public welfare, and job creation.
The Deputy Chairman underlined that the present government, in collaboration with its coalition partners, is taking concrete measures to strengthen the economy, promote employment opportunities, and enhance the overall standard of living. He added that the government’s top priority is to integrate underdeveloped regions into the national development framework so that all parts of the country can progress equitably.
Highlighting Pakistan’s immense potential, Syedal Khan stated that the country ranks among the most resource-rich nations in the world. The vast mineral reserves of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said, can become the backbone of the national economy if harnessed through a coherent and sustainable policy. With the right approach, Pakistan can join the ranks of developed nations.
He further noted that the present leadership is pursuing a balanced and comprehensive strategy to promote investment, trade, and international cooperation. Pakistan, he reaffirmed, is a peace-loving country that continues to play a positive role in promoting peace, stability, and mutual cooperation in the region and beyond.
