Event Title: Distinguished parliamentary delegations from various countries have arrived in Islamabad to participate in the upcoming Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference.

Dr. Tagelin Ibrahim Hamad, President of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), affiliated with the United Nations ECOSOC, has arrived in Islamabad leading an international delegation dedicated to promoting global peace. Senior officers of the Senate Secretariat warmly welcomed the distinguished guests upon their arrival at Islamabad International Airport.
In the same context, parliamentary delegations from Guyana, Congo, and Somalia have also reached Islamabad. From Somalia, Ms. Sadiya Yassin Haji, First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, arrived along with her representative team. From Congo, Mr. Prosper Kasongo Lukali Tunda, Member of Parliament, arrived to participate in the conference. From Guyana, Mr. Ubraj Narine, Director of National Peace Initiatives, also reached Islamabad. Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman warmly welcomed the guests at the Islamabad airport.
Moreover, accompanying staff members from Morocco have also arrived in Islamabad ahead of the arrival of the Speaker of the House of Councillors of Morocco, who is expected to reach tomorrow. The Moroccan delegation includes the Speaker’s Executive Director, senior journalists, interpreters, and other supporting staff.
The Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference, organized under the visionary leadership of Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, reflects Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among nations. Scheduled to be held in Islamabad from November 11 to 12, 2025, the conference will serve as a significant milestone in strengthening inter-parliamentary relations and advancing the shared goal of global peace and collaboration.
