Event Title: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Presiding over a Senate House Business Advisory Committee Meeting at Parliament House, Islamabad

Business Advisory Committee of the Senate met here at the Parliament House on Thursday. The Committee, presided over by Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, discussed in detail legislative business to be transacted during the 356th Session of the Senate.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on current situation of important national and international issues. The BAC decided that the current session is likely to continue till 5th December, 2025. The Committee while expressing solidarity with Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider offered fateha for the departed soul of his mother who passed away last week. Members also congratulated Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on the successful hosting of Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference.
The meeting was attended by Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Senator Jan Muhammad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
The Secretary Senate briefed the Committee about the legislative business to be transacted during the current session.
