The Acting Chairman of the Senate, Senator Syedal Khan, visited the residence of former Leader of the House in the Senate and Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq, to inquire after his health and wish him a speedy recovery.
During the visit, the Acting Chairman prayed for Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq’s early and complete recovery and conveyed his best wishes. Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq has recently been under medical treatment after sustaining a fracture due to a fall. Senator Syedal Khan also presented him with a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of goodwill. Former Member of the Provincial Assembly, Raja Muhammad Ali, was also present on the occasion.
The Acting Chairman prayed for Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq’s good health, long life, and early return to his normal routine. He said that Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq’s services to national politics and the strengthening of parliamentary traditions are unforgettable. He described him as a leader whose integrity, dignity, and character have always remained beyond question.
Senator Syedal Khan further said that Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq is a refined, tolerant, and statesmanlike politician who has devoted his entire life to the country’s progress, prosperity, and the consolidation of democracy. He has represented Pakistan as an ambassador in various countries and has served in the Upper House as Leader of the House, Leader of the Opposition, and held several key ministerial portfolios.
He added that Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq is a valuable asset to the Pakistan Muslim League, held in the highest regard by the party leadership and its members. Leaders and parliamentarians across all political parties are expressing their best wishes for his health and recovery.
Concluding his remarks, the Acting Chairman said that the prayers and good wishes of all are with Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq, and expressed hope that Allah Almighty grants him full and swift recovery.
