Event Title: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Presiding over a Senate House Business Advisory Committee Meeting at Parliament House, Islamabad.

Islamabad the 19th January, 2026 Business Advisory Committee of the Senate met here at the Parliament House on Monday. The Committee, presided over by Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, discussed in detail legislative business to be transacted during the 357th Session of the Senate.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on current situation of important national and international issues. The BAC decided that the current session is likely to continue till 27th January, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, Senator Jan Muhammad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Sentor Kamran Murtaza, Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
The Secretary Senate briefed the Committee about the legislative business to be transacted during the current session.
