Washington/New York: During his official visit to the United States, Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, was honored at a dignified luncheon hosted by Pakistan Peoples Party USA President Khalid Awan, Vice President Nasir Saleem, and Ijaz Shahid. The event was attended by party office-bearers, workers, and prominent members of the Pakistani-American community.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Gilani expressed his appreciation to the hosts and participants for the warm reception. He stated that overseas Pakistanis are not only ambassadors of the country but also play a vital role in promoting democratic values and strengthening Pakistan’s global image.
