Event Title: Chairman Senate pays glowing tributes to late Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa.

Dera Ghazi Khan: Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi attended the Quran Khwani ceremony  for the  former Governor Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa. The ceremony was held at the Central Eidgah in Dera Ghazi Khan, where the Sajjada Nashin of the shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed, Syed Abul Hassan Gilani, led the collective prayer.
 
Among those present on the occasion were former Member Provincial Assembly Syed Ahmad Mujtaba Gilani, Provincial Minister Sher Ali Gorchani, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Traders Mian Muhammad Naeem Mir, former Governor Rafiq Ahmad Rajwana, Members of the National and Provincial Assemblies including Sardar Ammar Owais Leghari, Rana Tanveer Ahmad, Ahmad Khan Leghari, Nadeem Afzal Chan, as well as Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak, Khawaja Aamir Koreja, Sardar Yousaf Khan Leghari, Syed Abdul Aleem Shah, Hafiz Iqbal Khan Khakwani, Sardar Mohsin Atta Khosa, Sardar Ahmad Ali Dreshak, former Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, and other dignitaries. The sons of the late Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa—Sardar Hissamuddin Khosa, Sardar Saifuddin Khosa, and Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan—along with other family members, were also present on the occasion.
 
During the ceremony, dastarbandi of Sardar Hissamuddin Khan Khosa, the eldest son of the late leader, was performed by former Minister Hafiz Iqbal Khan Khakwani and former MNA Sardar Amjad Farooq Khosa. He was also appointed as the chief of the tribe.
 
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani paid tribute to the political services, principled leadership, and contributions of Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa towards the development of the region. He stated that the late leader was a wise, dignified, and people-oriented politician whose absence will always be deeply felt.
 
A large number of locals also attended the Quran Khwani.
