Event Title: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Presiding over a Senate House Business Advisory Committee Meeting at Parliament House, Islamabad.

The House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate met at the Parliament House today on Thursday. The Committee, presided over by Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, discussed in detail the legislative business to be transacted during the 361st Session of the Senate.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on the current situation of important national and international issues. The HBAC decided that the current session is likely to continue till 22nd May, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Leader of the Opposition, Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, Senator Manzoor Ahmad, Senator Atta-ur-Rehman, Senator Jan Muhammad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
The Secretary Senate briefed the Committee about the legislative business to be transacted during the current session.
