Chairman Senate stated that Pakistan believes in diversity, interfaith harmony, and respect for all communities. He emphasized that the teachings of Islam reject hatred, prejudice, and discrimination, and instead advocate peace, compassion, and respect for humanity.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani underscored the responsibility of parliamentarians, media, educational institutions, and civil society to discourage divisive narratives and encourage constructive dialogue. He also emphasized the responsible use of digital and social media to counter misinformation and hate-driven content.
