The first meeting of the Sub-Committee of the Executive Committee of the Senate Secretariat Employees Welfare Fund (SSEWF) was held at Parliament House under the convenorship of Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti.
The Sub-Committee deliberated on the existing medical facilities available to Senate Secretariat employees and discussed measures to further improve healthcare services. Members deliberated over proposals for expanding the panel of hospitals and explored the option of acquiring health insurance services to provide broader and more efficient medical coverage for employees.
The Convener emphasized the need to adopt practical and sustainable solutions that ensure quality healthcare for employees and their families. The Sub-Committee decided to examine all available options in detail and prepare recommendations for submission to the Executive Committee within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was attended by members of the Sub-Committee, Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri and Senator Nasir Mehmood, along with relevant officers of the Senate Secretariat.
