The Pakistan Overseas Women Association (POWA) has announced the appointment of Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman Senate of Pakistan, as its Patron-in-Chief.
Welcoming the appointment, POWA stated that Ms. Khar’s leadership, vision, and commitment to public service will significantly strengthen the organization’s mission of empowering women and serving communities across Pakistan.
Ms. Misbah Khar currently serves as Advisor to the Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, and is also the Ambassador for the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC). She is widely recognized for her contributions to parliamentary diplomacy and her active representation of Pakistan at regional and international forums.
