Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani met with Mr. Umair Bhatti, Member of Council representing the Moderate Party (Moderaterna), Sweden, at Parliament House.
During the meeting, Chairman Senate emphasized that Pakistan highly values its partnership with Sweden and is keen to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, particularly trade, investment, parliamentary exchanges, education, innovation, and people-to-people contacts.
Chairman Senate said that parliamentary diplomacy serves as an effective platform for enhancing mutual understanding and fostering closer cooperation between nations. He expressed the hope that increased interaction between the legislatures of Pakistan and Sweden would contribute to expanding bilateral relations and creating new avenues for collaboration.
