At the special invitation of the Acting President of Pakistan / Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, arrived in Islamabad on an official visit.
The distinguished guest was warmly received upon arrival by Senator Hafiz Abdul Karim, Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood along with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, H.E. Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan and senior officials of the Senate Secretariat.
The visit reflects the strong and enduring ties between Pakistan and the Muslim World League and underscores their shared commitment to promoting peace, interfaith harmony, moderation, and unity across the Muslim world.
During his visit, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa is expected to hold high-level meetings with the Acting President/Chairman Senate and other national leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the promotion of religious harmony, tolerance, and enhanced cooperation in areas of common concern.
