Acting Chairman Senate Syedal Khan has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Iftikhar Gilani on his election as the 17th Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message of felicitations, Syedal Khan said that the election of Iftikhar Gilani was a manifestation of the democratic process and the people’s mandate. He expressed the hope that the newly elected Prime Minister would use his political experience and abilities to promote the development, prosperity and welfare of the people of Azad Kashmir.
The Acting Chairman Senate emphasized the importance of strong coordination between the Federation and Azad Jammu and Kashmir for strengthening democratic institutions, addressing public issues and accelerating development initiatives in the region.
He expressed the hope that the new leadership would focus on improving education and healthcare, creating employment opportunities for youth, providing basic facilities and promoting economic development in Azad Kashmir.
Syedal Khan conveyed his best wishes to Prime Minister-elect Iftikhar Gilani and prayed that Allah Almighty would grant him wisdom and strength to discharge his responsibilities effectively and serve the people of Azad Kashmir with dedication.
