Event Title: 116-Member Delegation of Pakistan Youth Parliament Visits Parliament House

A 116-member delegation of the Pakistan Youth Parliament paid a study visit to Parliament House, Islamabad today. Upon arrival, the delegation was welcomed by officials of the Senate Secretariat.
The delegation visited the Senate Museum, where they received a comprehensive briefing on the history of Parliament, legislative stages, and the constitutional role of the Senate. On this occasion, a documentary highlighting the history of the Upper House was also screened.
Later, the delegation toured the Senate Hall and the Assembly Hall, where they were briefed on the operational procedures, parliamentary traditions, and the legislative process of the Upper House.
Afterward, the delegation visited Gali-e-Dastoor (Constitution Street exhibit), where they were provided detailed insights into the framing of the Constitution of Pakistan and key milestones in its constitutional history.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed gratitude to the Senate Secretariat for the informative briefing, describing the tour as highly useful and educational. They noted that such visits help highlight the importance of democratic values, legislation, and the parliamentary system among the younger generation.
