Senate Business Advisory Committee Reviews Legislative Business for the 364th Session; Current Session to Continue Until October 30, 2026
A meeting of the Senate Business Advisory Committee was held today, Tuesday, at Parliament House under the chairmanship of Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. The meeting reviewed in detail the legislative business to be taken up during the 364th Session of the Senate.
In addition to legislative business, the Committee will also deliberate on important national and international matters. As decided by the Senate Business Advisory Committee, the current session of the Senate will continue until October 30, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Senator and Senate Chief Whip Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Manzoor Ahmed, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, Senator Jan Muhammad, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Hidayat Ullah Khan, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider briefed the Business Advisory Committee in detail on the legislative business to be considered during the current session and matters relating to the proceedings of the House.
