3.      SENATOR COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Chairman, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, to move that under             sub-rule (1) of rule 171 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on the Privilege Motion regarding lapse of funds at the end of financial year 2009 due to       non-provision of required information and papers by the Provincial Governments of Sindh and Balochistan to Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Islamabad, be condoned till today.

4.      SENATOR COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Chairman, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, to present report of the Committee on the Privilege Motion regarding lapse of funds at the end of financial year 2009 due to non-provision of required information and papers by the Provincial Governments of Sindh and Balochistan to Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Islamabad.

 

RESOLUTION

 

5.      SYED NAYYER HUSSAIN BOKHARI, Leader of the House to move the following resolution:-

 
“The House resolves that, in order to foster ties with other Parliaments of the world, Parliamentary Friendship Groups be established in the Senate of Pakistan. This House also authorizes Chairman Senate to form such groups as and when required.”.

6.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister-in-Charge of Establishment Division to lay before the Senate the Federal Public Service Commission’s Annual Report for the year, 2008, as required under section 9(1) of the Federal Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1977 (XLV of 1977).

ADJOURNMENT MOTION

 

 

7.      Further discussion on the admitted Adjournment Motion moved by Mian Raza Rabbani and Mr. Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali on 11th January, 2010, regarding issuance of new set of screening guidelines by U.S. subjecting Pakistani passengers to special scrutiny.
