(R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Chairman, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, to move that under             sub-rule (1) of rule 171 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on the Privilege Motion regarding misbehaviour of Superintendent Police, Gadap Town, Karachi with Senator Mrs. Semeen Siddiqui, be condoned till today.

6.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill further to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 [The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2009] be passed.

7.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances, as required by clause (2)(a)(ii) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

 

i)

The Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance, 2009 (Ordinance No.XXVII of 2009).

 

ii)

The Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (Ordinance No.XXXIV of 2009).

 

iii)

The Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (Ordinance No.XL of 2009).

 

iv)

The Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Ordinance, 2009 (Ordinance No.XLII of 2009).
