3.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances, as required by clause (2)(a)(ii) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

(i)

The Finance (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXII of 2009).

 

(ii)

The Public Defender and Legal Aid Office Ordinance, 2009    (XXIV of 2009).

 

(iii)

The Central Law Officers (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009                    (XXV of 2009).

 

(iv)

The Petroleum Products (Petroleum Development Levy) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXVI of 2009).

 

(v)

The National School of Public Policy (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXVIII of 2009).

 

(vi)

The Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXIX of 2009).

 

(vii)

The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXX of 2009).

 

(viii)

The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan Ordinance, 2009 (XXXI of 2009).

 

(ix)

The Islamabad Consumers Protection (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (XXXV of 2009).

 

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

 

4.      MAKHDOOM SHAHABUDDIN, Minister for Health, to move that the Bill to provide for removal, storage and transplantation of human organs and tissues for therapeutic purposes [The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Bill, 2009], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

5.      MAKHDOOM SHAHABUDDIN, Minister for Health, to move that the Bill to provide for removal, storage and transplantation of human organs and tissues for therapeutic purposes [The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Bill, 2009] be passed.

 

6.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill to make provisions for free legal assistance to the indigent persons [The Public Defender and Legal Aid Office Bill, 2010], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.
