3.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances, as required by clause (2)(a)(ii) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

(i)

The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad Ordinance, 2009

(LIII of 2009).

 

(ii)

The Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions (Regulation and Promotion) Ordinance, 2009 (LIV of 2009).

 

(iii)

The National Defence University Ordinance, 2009 (LV of 2009).

 

(iv)

The West Pakistan Regulation and Control of Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (LVI of 2009).

 

(v)

The Pakistan Engineering Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (LVII of 2009).

 

(vi)

The Institute of Space Technology Ordinance, 2009 (LVIII of 2009).

 

(vii)

The National Database and Registration Authority (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009 (LIX of 2009).

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

 

4.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to move that the Bill to make provisions for free legal assistance to the indigent persons [The Public Defender and Legal Aid Office Bill, 2010], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.
