2.         HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move that the Bill further to amend the Medical and Dental Council Ordinance, 1962 [The Medical and Dental Council (Amendment) Bill, 2012], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

4.         Discussion on the following motion moved by Mr. Abdul Haseeb Khan on 5th April, 2011:-

 

 

The House may discuss the health policy of the Government with particular reference to registration and pricing of drugs, National Health Programmes and formation of drug regulatory authority in the light of 18th Amendment in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”.

 

5.         Discussion on the following motion moved by Col. (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on 6th February, 2012:-

 

The House may discuss the Housing Policy of the Government with particular reference to the housing schemes for low paid government employees.”.

 

MOTIONS

6.         MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move that this House may discuss the affairs of Pakistan Railways with particular reference to its present financial position and the condition of its locomotives and other infrastructure.

 

7.         MRS. NUZHAT SADIQ to move that this House may discuss overall performance of Ministry of Water and Power and its attached departments dealing with production and distribution of electricity with particular reference to its failure to resolve the issue of shortage of electricity in the country.

 

8.         COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the situation arising out of load shedding of electricity in the country.

 

9.         MR. FARHATULLAH BABAR to move that this House may discuss the law and order situation in the country with particular reference to the incident of jail break in Bannu.

 

10.     COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the situation arising out of supply of contaminated and polluted drinking water in the country.

11.      Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Farhatullah Babar on 30th April, 2012:-

 

“This House calls upon the Government to sign and ratify the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances.”.

 

12.      Consideration of the following resolution moved by Mr. Shahi Syed on 30th April, 2012:-

 

 “This House recommends that the Government may take effective steps to deweaponize the city of Karachi in view of prevailing law and order situation in the city.”.

 

RESOLUTIONS

 

13.      HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL AND MR. MUHAMMAD ZAHID KHAN to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that the Government may abolish cess/tax on the transportation of essential commodities to the Federally Administered Tribal Agencies.”.

 

14.      MRS. MUDDASSIR SEHAR KAMRAN to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that Legal Aid Desks may be established in Pakistan Embassies/Missions abroad to provide legal aid to the Pakistanis in foreign jails particularly in countries where a large number of Pakistanis are imprisoned.”.

 

15.      MRS. NUZHAT SADIQ to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that the Government may take immediate steps to control power losses and ensure recovery of outstanding dues.”.

 

16.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that stipends be granted to all the unemployed educated persons in the country.”.

 

17.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move the following resolution:-

 

“The House recommends that water filtration plants may be installed in each city and village of the country to save the people from water borne diseases.”.
