2. MR. MOHAMMAD ISHAQ DAR to move for leave to introduce a Bill to consolidate the law to regulate the
acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution by Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs), whether registered or not in Pakistan, and to regulate
acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution for any activities detrimental
to the national interest and for matters connected therewith or incidental
thereto [The
Regulation of Foreign Contribution Bill, 2013].
3. MR. MOHAMMAD ISHAQ DAR to introduce the
Bill to consolidate
the law to regulate the acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution by
Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), whether registered or not in Pakistan,
and to regulate acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution for any
activities detrimental to the national interest and for matters connected
therewith or incidental thereto [The Regulation
of Foreign Contribution Bill, 2013].
4. MR. MOHAMMAD ISHAQ DAR to move that the Bill to provide for the
abolition of all discretionary quotas in housing schemes in the public sector
[The Abolition of the Discretionary Quotas in Housing Schemes Bill, 2012], as
passed by the National Assembly, be taken into
consideration.
5. MR. MOHAMMAD ISHAQ DAR to move that the Bill to provide for the
abolition of all discretionary quotas in housing schemes in the public sector
[The Abolition of the Discretionary Quotas in Housing Schemes Bill, 2012] be
passed.
6. Consideration of the following
resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Talha Mehmood on 28th January, 2013:-
“This House recommends that effective steps be taken to
eradicate manufacturing and sale of spurious and substandard drugs in the
country.”.
7. Consideration of the following
resolution moved by Mr. Karim Ahmed Khawaja on 18th February, 2013:-
“The House recommends that the Government may take
effective steps to control environmental pollution in ICT.”.
AMENDMENTS TO THE SENATE
RULES
(Under Rule 269)
8. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to seek leave under sub-rule (4) of rule 269 of the Rules of Procedure and
Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, to move an amendment that in rule 165,
in sub-rule (1), as amended on 26th February, 2013, for the word
“nine”, the word “twelve” and for the word “twelve”, the word “fourteen” be
substituted.
9. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move, if leave is granted, that the proposed
amendment in sub-rule (1) of rule 165 be taken into consideration.
10. HAJI MOHAMMAD ADEEL to move that the proposed amendment in sub-rule
(1) of rule 165 be passed.
