3.     SENATOR MRS. KALSOOM PARVEEN, Chairperson, Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat and Capital Administration and Development, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on the Bill to provide for grant of Degree Awarding Status to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad [The Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (PIMS), Islamabad Bill, 2013], be condoned till today.

4.     SENATOR MRS. KALSOOM PARVEEN, Chairperson, Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat and Capital Administration and Development, to present report of the Committee on the Bill to provide for grant of Degree Awarding Status to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad [The Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (PIMS), Islamabad Bill, 2013].

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

5.     MR. FAROOQ HAMID NAEK, Minister for Law and Justice, to move that the Bill to make institutional reforms for standardizing and harmonizing the laws relating to Federal Ombudsmen institution of and the matters ancillary or akin thereto [The Federal Ombudsmen Institutional Reforms Bill, 2013], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

6.     MR. 8.      RANA MOHAMMAD FAROOQ SAEED KHAN, Minister for Climate Change, to move that the Bill to provide for establishment of Global Change Impact Studies Centre [The Global Change Impact Studies Centre Bill, 2013], be passed.

 

9.      SYED NAVEED QAMAR, Minister for Defence, to move that the Bill to provide for establishment of Defence Housing Authority Islamabad [The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad Bill, 2013], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

10.    SYED NAVEED QAMAR, Minister for Defence, to move that the Bill to provide for establishment of Defence Housing Authority Islamabad [The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad Bill, 2013] be passed.

 

11.    MR. FAROOQ HAMID NAEK, Minister for Law and Justice, to move that the Bill further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The Constitution (Twenty-fourth Amendment) Bill, 2013], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE

 

13.    SENATOR MRS. NUZHAT SADIQ to draw attention of the Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding financial problems being faced by more than 400 Pakistani students studying in different Chinese Universities under the cultural exchange program run by the Inter-Provincial Coordination Committee (IPCC) due to non payment of subsidy by the government.
