(R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Convener of the Special Committee on Privileges, to present report of the Committee on the issue relating to absence of concerned Officers of the Capital Development Authority and Establishment Division in the Official Gallery of the Senate during question hour on 6th May, 2015.

 

ORDINANCES TO BE LAID

 

4.      MR. PERVAIZ RASHID, Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

          (i)     The Pakistan Army (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015 (Ordinance No. I of 2015).

          (ii)    The Cantonments (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015 (Ordinance No. VI of 2015.

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

5.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, to  move that the Bill further to amend the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 [The Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance (First Amendment) Bill, 2015], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

6.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, to  move that the Bill further to amend the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 [The Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance (First Amendment) Bill, 2015] be passed.

 

7.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, to  move that the Bill further to amend the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 [The Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance (Second Amendment) Bill, 2015], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

 

8.      SHAIKH AFTAB AHMED, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, to  move that the Bill further to amend the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 [The Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance (Second Amendment) Bill, 2015] be passed.

 

CALLING ATTENTION NOTICES

 

9.      MR. SAEED GHANI to draw attention of the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding privatization of Heavy Electrical Complex (HEC).

 

10.    COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to draw attention of the Minister Incharge of the Establishment Division to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding discriminatory decision by the Special Committee and SSB-1 against Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Officers belonging to the Provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.
