SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON DEVOLUTION PROCESS - PRESENTATION OF:

HASIL KHAN BIZENJO, Convener, Special Committee on Devolution Process, to
present report of the Committee on “oversight or review by the Senate regarding
nominations to various policy and Administrative boards, councils envisaged
under various Acts of Parliament for ensuring that equal representation is
given to all provinces”.
MOTION

8. MR.
HASIL KHAN BIZENJO, Convener, Special Committee on Devolution Process, to
move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 196 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct
of Business in the Senate, 2012, the report of the Committee on “oversight or
review by the Senate regarding nominations to various policy and Administrative
boards, councils envisaged under various Acts of Parliament for ensuring that
equal representation is given to all provinces”, be considered and adopted.
[Under Rule 194 (1)]
9. MR.
MUHAMMAD JAVED ABBASI, Chairman, Standing Committee on Law, Justice and
Human Rights, to move under sub-rule (1) of rule 194
of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, that
period for submission of Report of the Committee
on the matter referred by the House on 4th May, 2015, regarding
“Issue of Corruption in Federal Government Departments”, may be extended till
12th September, 2015 in order to enable the Committee to give a
comprehensive report as many anomalies have been identified in the working and
jurisdiction of various Institutions/ Government Departments, working to
eradicate corruption.
CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE
10. MR.
SAEED GHANI AND HAFIZ HAMDULLAH to draw attention of the Minister for
Interior and Narcotics Control to a matter of sufficient public importance
regarding ban on the INGO “Save the Children” and subsequent withdrawal of said
ban by the Government.

of FATA by the security agencies on the pretext of security checking due to
which the people have become unable to move without CNICs,
raised by Senator Hidayat Ullah, on 14th April, 2015; |

Interior and Narcotics Control regarding the protest made by teachers of
Welfare Board and Polio Workers on 1st May, 2015 (Labour Day) against non payment of their salaries who
have been subjected to baton charge by the Police and cases were also
registered against them, raised by Senator Shahi Syed, on 5th May,
2015; |

Report by the Minister for
Interior and Narcotics Control about the issue of blocking of CNICs of Bengalis by the NADRA and issuing the same to
them through unfair means, raised by Senator Nighat Mirza, on 14th

Federal Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 [The Federal
Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance (First Amendment) Bill, 2015], as reported by the Standing Committee, be
taken into consideration at once.
