(R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI, Chairman, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges, to move that under sub-rule (1) of rule 171 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 1988, the delay in presentation of report of the Committee on the Privilege Motion moved by Senators  Prof. Khurshid Ahmad, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan and Mst. Afia Zia regarding laying of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Ordinance, 2009 (Ordinance No.VIII of 2009) before the Senate on 29th July, 2009 after it had been repealed on 27th June, 2009, be condoned till today.

5.      DR. ZAHEER-UD-DIN BABAR AWAN, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, to lay before the Senate the following Ordinances as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:-

 

(i)

The Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010 (VIII of 2010)

 

(ii)

The Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitral Awards) Ordinance, 2010 (IX of 2010)

 

 


ADJOURNMENT MOTION

      Further discussion on the admitted Adjournment Motions moved by      Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Hafiz Rashid Ahmad and Haji Mohammad Adeel on 2nd August, 2010 on the situation arising out of the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of the country.
