2.         Further consideration of the following motion moved by Prof. Khurshid Ahmed on 1st November, 2010:-

 

that the leave be granted to introduce a Bill further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2010]. (Insertion of new Article 19B).

 

3.         PROF. KHURSHID AHMED, PROF. MUHAMMAD IBRAHIM KHAN AND MST. AFIA ZIA to introduce the Bill further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2010].

 

4.         MR. SALEEM SAIFULLAH KHAN to move for leave to introduce a Bill to provide for the rehabilitation and financial assistance to the victims of natural calamities [The Victims of Natural Calamities (Rehabilitation and Financial Assistance) Bill, 2010].

 

5.         MR. SALEEM SAIFULLAH KHAN to introduce the Bill to provide for the rehabilitation and financial assistance to the victims of natural calamities [The Victims of Natural Calamities (Rehabilitation and Financial Assistance) Bill, 2010].

 

6.         MR. SALEEM SAIFULLAH KHAN to move for leave to introduce a Bill further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2010]. (Amendment of Article 248).

 

7.         MR. SALEEM SAIFULLAH KHAN to introduce the Bill further to amend the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan [The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2010].

 

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

 

8.       MR. WASIM SAJJAD to move that the Bill further to amend the Specific Relief Act, 1877 [The Specific Relief (Amendment) Bill, 2008], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

9.       MR. WASIM SAJJAD to move that the Bill further to amend the Specific Relief Act, 1877 [The Specific Relief (Amendment) Bill, 2008] be passed.

10.      Further discussion on the following motion moved by Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro on 3rd May, 2010:-

 

“This House may discuss the problem of un-employment in the country.”.

 

11.      Further discussion on the following amended motion moved by Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on 1st November, 2010:-

 

“The House may discuss the prevailing state of country’s economy in the wake of devastating floods in Pakistan together with price hike in the country.”.

 

MOTIONS

12.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the Health Policy of the Government.      

 

13.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move that the House may discuss the overall performance of OGDC with particular reference to the discovery of petroleum and gas reservoirs in the country.  

 

14.      DR. MUHAMMAD ISMAIL BULEDI to move that this House may discuss the overall performance of Ministry of Industries and Production.       

 

15.      MAULANA MUHAMMAD SALEH SHAH, HAFIZ RASHID AHMAD, MR. MUHAMMAD IDREES KHAN SAFI, MOULANA GUL NASEEB KHAN AND MR. ABDUL RAZIQ  to move that this House may discuss the hardships being faced by the people of FATA due to ongoing Military operation against militants.

 

16.      COL. (R) SYED TAHIR HUSSAIN MASHHADI to move that the House may discuss the overall performance of Pakistan Railways.

17.      Discussion on the following resolution moved by Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro on 27th July, 2009:-

 

“This House recommends that the loans written off by the Government Departments, Banks and Financial Institutions so far may be recovered immediately.”.          

 

R E S O L U T I O N S

 

18.      Mr. Muhammad Ali Durrani to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House resolves that sixteen mozas of the four Union Councils, namely Union Council Bakhtiyari, Union Council Ban Wala, Union Council Chenab Rasoolpur and Union Council Dhoor Kot, Tehsil Ahmedpur East, District Bahawalpur, may be declared as flood affected area and immediate relief may be provided to the flood affected people of the said area.”.    

 

19.      HAJI GHULAM ALI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that a ban may be imposed on all types of constructions within 30 feet of periphery of service roads alongside the motorways in the country to enable the concerned authorities to widen the roads as and when required.”.

 

20.      DR. MUHAMMAD ISMAIL BULEDI to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that effective steps may be taken to control unemployment in the country.”. 

 

21.      MR. MUHAMMAD TALHA MAHMOOD to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that effective steps be taken to eradicate child labour in the country.”.

 

22.      HAFIZ RASHID AHMAD to move the following resolution:-

 

“This House recommends that necessary reforms be made in F.C.R.”.

CALL ATTENTION NOTICE

 

23.      SENATOR PROF. KHURSHID AHMED to draw attention of the Minister for Labour and Manpower to a matter of sufficient public importance regarding shocking decline in the export of workforce.
