A businessman and industrialist and having specialization in finance and management, Mr. Saif-ur-Rehman Khan was born in Lahore on 7th December, 1954.
Mr. Saifur Rehman Khan got his early education in Lahore and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the Punjab University in 1974. After the completion of his formal education and academic career, he resorted to business and industry. He is Chairman of the REDCO Group of Industries. He is a widely traveled person who has been to almost every part of the globe.
Mr. Saifur Rehman was elected as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan in March, 1997 for a period of six years. He is a Member of the Senate Standing Committees on Cabinet and Management Services, Defence and Civil Aviation and Foreign Affairs and also that of the Functional Committee on Government Assurances.
Senator Saifur Rehman is also the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Ehtesab Cell.
